Brooke Penelope Davis comes from a broken family. She is an only child. Her parents often go away on business for months at a time and leave her alone in their huge home to basically fend for herself. They are there for her in monetary ways, but not physically or emotionally. She does a lot on her own, like cooks and cleans. I think her lifestyle forced her to mature a lot faster than other girls her age. Our families have their similarities and differences. My parents divorced when I was 14 years old. I also have a younger brother, who at the time was 8 years old. I was kind of anticipating my parents' divorce, but my brother took great surprise to the announcement. After my parents separated, my brother required more attention than I did. There was many times where I felt abandoned and alone. I had no choice but to take care of myself. I think my situation also required me to grow up a little.

A Day in the Life of Brooke Davis
Brooke Davis, as perceived by other people, is the wealthy, popular, and promiscuous captain of the cheerleading squad of Tree Hill High. However, people's perceptions of her are very wrong. The character from the CW television series, "One Tree Hill", and I shared the same stereotypical name in high school, but neither of us let that get in the way of following our dreams.

"Be sure what you do makes you smile."
If I had to create a bumper sticker that modeled my philosophy for life, it would be, "be sure what you do makes you smile".
Many activities that are fun and pleasurable are also good for you, such as smiling. Smiling is a great way to change your attitude, connect with people, and give benefit to your body. Smiling is one of many fun ways to live longer. Other fun ways to extend life consist of, drinking red wine, eating dark chocolate, and sleeping. Smiling can work to counteract the effects of stress. By forcing ourselves to smile, we "trick" our body into believing everything is good, therefore reducing stress.
Smiling makes you more attractive. It is a proven fact that people are drawn to people who smile. A nice smile is an important aspect of non-verbal communication. A smile is the center of giving thanks, falling in love, and exhibiting inner happiness. Whether you are considered pretty or ugly a smile can make you 100 percent more attractive. Beauty comes from within, so when you're happy on the inside it shows on the outside.
Smiling is contagious. When you project a smile, the other person can't help but smile back at you. If you want to make a good impression, a smile is your best option. You can sport all the material items that you want, but if you sport a sour face you'll get the same treatment in return. A smile is worth more than words. It is a universal language expressed in the form of a gesture that greats and welcomes other people. A smile has no monetary value. No amount of money can buy you one. It is given away for free.
I read somewhere that it takes 43 facial muscles to frown, but only 17 facial muscles to smile. Therefore, it takes a lot less energy to smile. The ability to smile is a gift to humans. Everything you do should make you smile, but if it doesn't, then you should just smile anyway because it is good for you!
